Successful pilot bore by Richard & Dennis at Riggtech Entreprenad under motorway E18 in Stabekk, Norway!
During this week an 80 meter long pilot bore in rock were finished under the motorway E18 in Stabekk, Norway.
The target was to exit within a radius of 50cm on a stated point down in a tunnel on the other side of the road, at a depth of approximately 22 meters.
With very accurate preparations and performing and with a stable connection between the transmitter and the receiver from start to end, the drill bit showed its face 30 cm to the left and 10 cm under centre of stated exit point.
A first step with reaming to 254 mm is finished and now one of Riggtechs DTH drills is taking over the reaming to final dimension 650 mm.
