This is how a bore profile can look like utilizing the Mag 9 in bore-to mode!
In the end of September we were in Denmark and did a demo for Danboring who performed the operation.
The location was Portlands cement factory in Ålborg.
The mission was to drill and install utility pipes 12 meter below a storehouse.
The width of the storehouse was 50 meter where there were no access to come inside the storehouse though it was full. It was extremely high active and passive interference around the storehouse and as a precaution we set the Echo 90 transmitter in high power mode to ensure the navigation.
By utilizing the bore-to function we could have control on both drilling and logging underneath the magazine, although the receiver had a distance up to 25 meter from the transmitter at a depth of 12meter. The pilot bore on 198,5 meter took only 4 hours to perform.
The machine operator performs the logging with only one push on a button when adding rod, when the bore is finished you can easily e-mail the borelog from the machine display.
